This story is written by Ethan and is about his life with Autism I believe he was eight when he wrote this I didn t look into the illustrator, but maybe I should I liked the illustrations but felt that they somehow failed the capture the youthfulness of this character I guess I just felt like the drawings didn t line up perfectly with the story, though both the story and the drawings are excellent The story, to me, seems like something that you would give to someone who doesn t know anythin This story is written by Ethan and is about his life with Autism I believe he was eight when he wrote this I didn t look into the illustrator, but maybe I should I liked the illustrations but felt that they somehow failed the capture the youthfulness of this character I guess I just felt like the drawings didn t line up perfectly with the story, though both the story and the drawings are excellent The story, to me, seems like something that you would give to someone who doesn t know anything about people on the Spectrum and needs a basic idea of what they could encounter There s a show on Netflix called Atypical, which some people rave about and some people don t, but for me, I think it s one of those things where it brings awareness, so I m kind of for it That s what this book is Plus, it s written by a child with Autism, not some adult who observed the child and put some ideas together This is a great book and I m glad I read it If I could give it a 4.5 I would
