One of my favorite cozi mystery series Hated to finish this one so quickly but I m already counting down until the next one is published so I can see what happens next for Angie and those around her I ve enjoyed this series from the beginning and am very sad that this will be the last book I m a big fan of any sort of Amish fiction and the townsfolk of Rolling Brook, Ohio have begun to feel like old friends. This time around, Angie is trying to solve a murder which took place in her backyard AND which has Jonah looking like the prime suspect As if that weren t enough, the area is also being invaded by Bigfoot enthusiasts who are convinced the creature has been spotted in Holmes County and I ve enjoyed this series from the beginning and am very sad that this will be the last book I m a Angie finds herself the center of their attention I love all the animals in this series, as well Angie has a French Bulldog named Oliver as well as a cat named Dodger, while Jim has his Boston terrier, Tux and of course Petunia the goat is around quite often, creating havoc wherever she goes.Once again, the mystery was well written and kept me guessing until the very end And the solution to the Bigfoot situation was well presented also, even if it was a bitpredictable. The last few pages of the story DEFINITELY had me wishing for at least onebook, but I suppose I will just have to make due with my own imagination Be sure to read the excerpt of PROSE AND CONS, the next installment of Magical Bookshop Mysteries, which the author writes as Amanda Flower I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own Angie Braddock is happy running her Amish quilt shop and growing closer to her boyfriend, Sheriff James Mitchell. But when an electrician is found dead in her parents back yard during a remodel, Angie is drawn into the investigation, especially when Mitchell suspects Angie s friend Jonah, of killing the man, whom he suspects had a part in Jonah s cousin s death.I adore this series Angie is a fantastic character who wants to see right done, even if it means sticking her nose into a murder invest Angie Braddock is and the relationships are anything but cookie cutter I love being in Holmes County, where anything can happen, including sightings of Big Foot.I received a copy of this book from the publisher through figure out the motive which to me is the most important part, till almost the end.The second surprise comes at the end of the book and I truly hope the rumors of this book being the last one is wrong I need just one.And for anyone reading this book will probably understand why.The next day Griffin is found dead and Jonah is prime suspect Author Isabella Alan has stitched together a wonderfully
